Welcome to the CCPS Professional Learning site Cecil County Public Schools utilizes the professional learning standards that were created and published by the National Staff Development Council as well as the Maryland Professional Development Standards. These standards make explicit that the purpose of professional learning is for educators to develop the knowledge, skills, practices, and dispositions they need to help students perform at higher levels.
Our professional belief is that student success and achievement is directly linked to the effective professional learning that educators participate in on a regular basis.
